Woman sought by federal agents

Crime Stoppers is trying to find Betty Williams, who is wanted for violation of federal supervised release.

Williams spent 16 months in federal custody and then was released on probation, according to the news release from the Chattanooga Police Department. While she still was on probation, police took out warrants against her on charges of writing bad checks, the release stated.

Now Williams is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service for numerous charge: violating supervised release on her original charge of conspiracy to make, possess, and distribute counterfeit securities, and three counts of possessing and distributing counterfeit securities.

Williams, 52, is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 115 lbs. Police believe she has been living with family and friends within the Chattanooga area.
