Alabama man arrested for possession of real and fake pot

A 39-year-old Alabama man has been charged with illegal possession of marijuana and “spice,” or fake marijuana, authorities said.

Hubert Craig Bodiford, who lives in the Powell-Rainsville area, was arrested Monday night and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession of marijuana and possession of spice, DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris said in a news release.

When agents with the DeKalb County and Jackson County drug task forces searched a house on County Road 577, they found about 2 ounces of spice and 2 ounces of marijuana, Harris said.
