Andrae McGary represents Chattanooga City Council District 8, including Avondale, Clifton Hills and Eastside. Voters first elected McGary in 2009. McGary recently stepped down as host of a radio talk show. He holds a bachelor of arts from Carver Bible College, a master’s in divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary and is pursuing a doctorate in sociology of religion from Oxford Graduate School.
