Chip Baker represents District 2, which includes Signal Mountain and other areas along the western border of Hamilton County. Voters elected Baker, a Signal Mountain resident, in 2000, 2004 and 2008.

A hospital administrator for 20 years, Baker now works as executive director of Friends of the Festival, the nonprofit organization that oversees the annual Riverbend festival.

He received an undergraduate degree from the College of Wooster in Ohio and a graduate degree from George Washington University.
