One person was shot in a robbery early today in Red Bank, according to a news release.
Chief Tim Christol said officers were called to 2401 Briggs Ave. at 12:43 a.m. on a report of a shooting. They found that two people had been robbed and one of them was shot.
The shooting victim was taken to a hospital. No description of the injuries was given.
The robbers were described as two black males wearing dark-colored clothing. They were believed to have left in a dark-colored sedan, the release stated.
