Chattanooga police responded to a shooting at 9 p.m. Monday at 2125 E. 25th Street Place where they found 19-year-old Thomas Armstrong suffering from a gunshot wound.
Armstrong was transported to a local hospital for treatment of the nonlife-threatening injury.
Investigators were told that two or three black male suspects drove by the area in a white SUV and shot several times at Armstrong. The investigation is still ongoing.
