Monday, July 30, 2012

Hamilton County Democrats and Republicans are both holding watch parties at their headquarters Thursday night after polls close.

Paul Smith, local Democratic Party chairman, said their headquarters, located 841 E. Main St., will be open from 7 a.m. until midnight.

“A lot of people will go to the election commission to get the results there,” Smith said.

Marty Von Shaaf, Republican chairman, said the GOP event will begin at 7 p.m. at 1428 Chestnut St., Suite E.

"We’ll hopefully have a big group down there, a big crowd," Von Shaaf said.
