Woman injured in fall at Pocket Wilderness

A woman suffered facial and neck injuries after falling today from a rope swing in the Pocket Wilderness on Mowbray Mountain.

The Mowbray Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call that a woman had fallen at the "Green Hole" swimming area about 5:30 p.m., according to a news release from Amy Maxwell, Hamilton County Emergency Management spokeswoman.

The patient was treated at the scene and was taken to the hospital by Hamilton County EMS for minor injuries.

The woman's name and age have not been released, Maxwell said.
