The Birther

about Clay Bennett...

The son of a career army officer, Bennett led a nomadic life, attending ten different schools before graduating in 1980 from the University of North Alabama with degrees in Art and History. After brief stints as a staff artist at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Fayetteville (NC) Times, he went on to serve as the editorial cartoonist for the St. Petersburg Times (1981-1994) and The Christian Science Monitor (1997-2007), before joining the staff of the ...

When Mitt Romney's father ran for the Republican nomination for President, the Democrats pointed out that he was born in Mexico. After a bit of wrangling it was decided that he was a natural born American. It would seem that a natural born American can be born anywhere as long as he/she has at least one American parent. The term "natural born" does not refer to place.

Obama's mother was from Kansas and related to lots of former Presidents. This whole birther issue is a distraction from the problems before us.

Actually there is no evidence Hussein Obama's mother visited Kenya, I think, where some say he was born. Attacking Hussein Obama where he was born is not how you stop his socialist/communist agenda and get him out of office. If the Republicans would stay with the facts of everything Hussein Obama has done has failed they will remove him screaming from the White House. Some of his failures are worsening unemployment, worsening economy, downgrading to a double A rating, unpopular illegal health care bill, high gas prices, we are still in Iraq and Afghanistan, on track to add 6 trillion dollars to the debt in 4 years after promising to cut the debt in half, highest deficit of any president, never passing a budget, his own party in congress not passing a budget he proposed, him paying his female White House Staff less than their male counterparts, his spending millions of dollars to keep his Harvard grades and papers hidden from the public, his spending 1 trillion dollars in stimulus with nothing to show for it, his continued hate speech promoting class warfare, his continued diatribe of the wealthy paying more taxes, including him while he takes every tax deduction he can to avoid paying more taxes. Hussein Obama even extended the tax cuts for the wealthy by extending the Bush Tax Cuts. This is but a few of his failures and lies and they are all facts. This is how you get him and Michelle out of the White House and end their entitlement minded lavish life styles at the expense of the taxpayer. Why does Clay not focus on Hussein Obama's failure? It is because Clay chooses to be a puppet of the dummycrat party that is leading him and the rest of their blind sheep to slaughter and in the process destroying America as we know it.

It's ironic that Clay Bennett is calling white people racist because they disagree with the President or have doubts about his birth. In essense, Clay is a racist because he believes all white people who disagree with the President are racist. Personally, I believe Obama was born in Hawaii. But I'm sooooo tired of people saying someone is a racist because they disagree with them. I think the issue of racism continues because people want it to continue. Without it, Clay wouldn't have a cartoon and others have nothing to point fingers at.

As far as "birthers" go, if someone questioned my citizenship I would just give everyone access to my records...show my passport. Obama has caused this by being secretive and evasive.

Racism has very little to do with conservatives attitudes toward Obama. It is his politics and policies we despise. Obama is a socialist who came in with no experience and would have never got past the vetting process if he was white. If racism is in play, it is the other side who has been racist and is using race to try and get this amateur reelected.

It's the democrats who seem to be the racists. The democrats want easier tests for blacks to get civil service jobs, obviously because democrats think blacks are too stupid to compete with whites on standardized tests. That's pretty racist.

Democrats also think that blacks are so stupid that they need special treatment from the government at every turn (affirmative action).

It's the democrats who don't give blacks (or any "minority")any credit at all for having the ability to do anything on their own. I hear the democrats all the time slamming Herman Cain, Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams and many other affluent blacks. Why does that not make the democrats racists?

I do not like Hussein Obama for his failed policies and they come from his white half as well. This would contradict the dummycrat lie that Hussein Obama is the first black president.

Oh for Pete's sake, people lose their birth certificates all the time. They apply for a copy of them when faced with a need to supply a copy for whatever reason.

I went thirty years without one and needed a copy to clear a FBI background check.

In the President's case, he probably didn't need a copy of his birth certificate until he ran for public office.

As the entire nation now knows, the man was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961. Anyone who thinks otherwise, given all the evidence that proves it, is a total and complete idiot.

  1. Every political party wants to make the president of the other party a one-term president. Obama, unlike Clinton, is too ideological and doesn't have the political skills to work with the other side. Clinton did and got something done.

  2. The economy was tanking at the end of that idiot Bush's term but it wasn't for the reason you think. Bush was spending too much and running too much deficit. Obama came in and spent even more than Bush.

  3. As far as McCain/Palin winning, McCain is such a rino there wouldn't have been much difference in either candidate.

  4. As far as ambushing poor President Obama, that is called politics. Both sides practice it and both sides try to win. Don't whine when you get your ass kicked. The reason the republicans said NO is because they thought he was wrong..duh..

'Barack Obama, the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii. The son of an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister, he attended Columbia University and worked as a financial journalist and editor for Business International Corporation.'

The literary agent has now claimed that they wrote the original bio but this has to be self serving B.S. since all of their other clients wrote their own information and submitted it. Why would they do it only for a person who was a little known B.S. artist at the time. Where would they get that information except from him."

Just how stupid are you? After your last fiasco of claiming Bush was not writing a book I would think you would be more careful with your definitive statements about what someone has said. But again that's giving you credit for possessing something you don't have and that's intelligence. You get your info from Breitbart.com and for those who don't know this is the so-called evidence he was going to offer as PROOF of Obama's birthplace. It's just too bad that before that ignorant, racist, blowheart took a dust bath he didn't realize this story has already been debunked.

"This was nothing more than a fact-checking error by me -- an agency assistant at the time," Miriam Goderich, who worked for the literary agency Acton & Dystel, told Yahoo News. "There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii."

Don't you ever get tired of being stupid?

Obama is no more ideological than Clinton was and Clinton did not possess any greater charisma or negotiating skills. The fundamental difference is that the Republicans in Clinton's day had not been taken over by the radical teaparty goons. They still maintained a semblance of sanity and were willing to realistically compromise on certain key issues. Obama went into office in a true spirit of bipartisanship but he learned quickly that the Republicans would sooner spit in his face than work with him.

A. That's really not a very good sign. America's first black president will go down in history known as the assassinating leader of the free world. One who ordered the dropping of bombs indiscriminately on men, women, children and babies. Then counting all the males killed as enemy combatants unless their surviving family members can prove otherwise. That's why the terrorist death count is so high. Not because all those killed are actually terrorist. They'd just being counted that way.

B. To the world, it makes a mockery of Dr. King stand on non-violence, and proves what a once oppressed people are capable of committing once in power. Although, Obama is not in charge of anything, actually.

C. They certainly can't go after Bush and his crew now, charging them with war crimes, unless they do the same to Obama. A very tricky, sly situation here.

D. Now, black Americans will just have more people around the world hating on them.

B. Dr. King didn't have people flying planes into his marches or churches either.

C. Is someone going after Bush for WAR CRIMES?

D. Who? Because many Middle Easterners already hate Americans.

Actually, exit polling showed Obama still over Romney.

The CNN exit poll also tested the fall presidential race: Results gave President Obama a 54-42 percent lead over Republican nominee-in-waiting Willard “Mitt” Romney.

So even if we trust the network calling of the recall, and there are reasons not to do that, it isn't saying what you claim about Obama.

But I see a lot hand-wringing over being racist, and attempts to project that sun on others. Typical. Especially odd when it's some of the people who have been pro-birtherhere before.

But here's an answer: because the tests aren't objective, but biased. Anybody with any experience with testing knows the wrong question can be at fault. Believe it or not, those tests are not like a thermometer.
