When Mitt Romney's father ran for the Republican nomination for President, the Democrats pointed out that he was born in Mexico. After a bit of wrangling it was decided that he was a natural born American. It would seem that a natural born American can be born anywhere as long as he/she has at least one American parent. The term "natural born" does not refer to place.

Obama's mother was from Kansas and related to lots of former Presidents. This whole birther issue is a distraction from the problems before us.

I can't wait to hear the Republicans complain about this.

So even if we trust the network calling of the recall, and there are reasons not to do that, it isn't saying what you claim about Obama.
