Thirty-nine people were cited for illegal gambling and two others arrested after a Thursday night raid by Chattanooga police.
Police seized cash, drugs and a weapon at Poker Depot at 7510 Lee Highway, said police spokesman Officer Nathan Hartwig.
About 8:15 p.m., the city's Special Investigations Unit broke up a poker ring and seized an undisclosed amount of cash, 7.8 grams of marijuana, eight pills and a .22-caliber pistol with ammunition, Hartwig said.
Those charged are:
Joaquin Lowe, 40, charged with illegal gambling and possession of a gambling device;
Richard Morris, 61, charged with illegal gambling and possession of a gambling device;
Roy Parker, 57, charged with gambling promotion and possession of a gambling device;
Jerry Teague, 68, charged with illegal gambling and possession of a gambling device;
Joyce Faulkner, 58, charged with illegal gambling and possession of a gambling paraphernalia;
Anthony Torey, 25, charged with illegal gambling and possession of a gambling device;
Patrick Godwin, 50, charged with illegal gambling and possession of a gambling device;
Michael Owens, 25, charged with illegal gambling and possession of a gambling device;
Felix Hunter, 49, charged with illegal gambling and possession of a gambling device;
