One person is in jail and another is being sought in a Saturday night shooting that wounded a teenager, Chattanooga police said this afternoon.
The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday at 2600 Market Street. The victim was shot in the shoulder but his injuries were not believed life-threatening, police said.
Police spokesman Sgt. Wayne Jefferson said a teenager has been charged with attempted first degree murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and unlawful use of a firearm.
He identified a second suspect as Kenneth Trammell, a black man, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 150 pounds, with dreadlocks. Trammell is wanted on the same charges, Jefferson said in a news release.
