1jailed, 1 sought in teen's shooting
One person was jailed and police were searching for another Sunday, the day after a shooting that wounded a teenager, Chattanooga police said.
The shooting happened about 7:30 p.m. Saturday at 2600 Market St. The juvenile victim was shot in the shoulder but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
Police spokesman Sgt. Wayne Jefferson said Sunday a teenager had been taken into custody on charges of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and unlawful use of a firearm.
He identified a second suspect as Kenneth Trammell, a black man, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 150 pounds, with dreadlocks. Trammell is wanted on the same charges, Jefferson said in a news release.

Suspect arrested in robberies
Chattanooga police say a man suspected in several robberies, including a bank and a nail salon, was arrested Friday.
James Eastman, 23, was tracked to the Hampton Inn, 2420 Williams St., according to a police news release.
Police spokesman Nathan Hartwig said Eastman has been charged with robbing Kay's Nail Salon, 5502C Hixson Pike, and the SunTrust Bank branch at 4614 Highway 58. He also has been charged with two carjackings, one at 315 Cherokee Blvd. and the other at 213 McBrien Road, and for violating federal probation.
Hartwig said investigators believe Eastman is responsible for additional robberies in the Highway 58, Brainerd and Hixson areas.
He credited the FBI, U.S. Marshals Service and the Red Bank and East Ridge police departments for helping with the investigation and arrest.
