Two men were arrested Thursday night in connection with the September 2010 death of a 21-year-old in Hixson.

Billy Bob Partin, 39, and Ronald Lee Pittman, 42, have been charged in connection with the death of Chance LeCroy that took place Sept. 9, 2010 at 1211 Johnston Terrace, said Chattanooga police spokesman Officer Nathan Hartwig.

Partin has been charged with felony murder and especially aggravated robbery, Hartwig said, while Pittman has been charged with facilitation of felony murder and facilitation of especially aggravated robbery.

According to an arrest report, police had developed several witnesses and suspects over the two-year investigation. Several witnesses had told police that Pittman and Partin were the men involved in LeCroy's killing.

During an interview with Pittman, police say he admitted that he and Partin were the two involved in the slaying.

Partin is being held on a $2 million bond. Pittman, who is from South Pittsburg, Tenn., is being held on a $1.5 million bond.
