A 37-year-old Bradley County man has been arrested in connection with burglaries in Cleveland and McMinn County, authorities say.

Mark Anthony Rymer, who lives on Old Charleston Road, is charged in Bradley County with aggravated burglary, theft over $500, theft of property over $10,000 and failing to appear in court on a prior theft charge, says Bradley County Sheriff's Office spokesman Bob Gault.

Rymer will be held at the Bradley County jail for charges in McMinn County, Gault said.

A burglary to a home on Old Charleston Road led to Rymer's arrest, he said, and as the investigation into the burglary continued, Rymer was connected to others in Cleveland and McMinn County.

The Old Charleston Road burglary involved the theft of an engine stand, a vehicle transmission and various tools on June 8, Gault said. The Cleveland burglary involved losses in excess of $10,000, he said, while a trailer and lawn mower were taken in McMinn County.
