Mark C. Clayton, formerly head of residential business for Milliken & Co. in Spartanburg, S.C., is joining Dobbs Mills LLC in Dalton, Ga. as president and chief executive officer. Clayton has more than 25 years in the floorcovering industry, including marketing and management jobs with J&J Industries, Beaulieu of America and Shaw Industries.

Dobbs Mills makes residential broadloom carpet sold under the Looptex and Phenix trade names throughout the United States and Canada.
