Volkswagen of America appoints Don Stephensonas director of VW brand after sales

Volkswagen of America on Thursday appointed Don Stephenson as director of VW brand after sales.

In his new role in Herndon, Va., Stephenson will direct all parts, accessories and service initiatives for the VW brand.

He originally joined VW in 2005 as director of the Southern region for Audi of America.

"After sales is a critical component of the Volkswagen customer experience," said Jonathan Browning, CEO of VW Group of America.
