A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was 12 miles west of South Pittsburg or 13 miles miles or 13 miles northwest of Bridgeport. Radar showed this storm moving northeast at 55 mph.

Tornado Warning for Grundy, Coffee, Van Buren and Warren Counties. Until 10:45 a.m. National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstomr capable of producing a tornado. It was located 11 miles northwest of Gruetli-Laager or 15 miles east of manchester, moving northeast at 55 mph. Locattions impated include altamont and Beersheba Springs.
