Oregon nursing assistant convicted for photos

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police say an Oregon woman who worked as a nursing assistant took photos of dying patients at a nursing home and posted them on her Facebook page with demeaning comments.

The 26-year-old, Nai Mai Chao, was arrested in September when she worked at the Regency Pacific Nursing and Rehab Center in the Portland suburb of Gresham.

KOIN reports (http://is.gd/DqMKNW ) she was convicted in January of invasion of privacy. She surrendered her license and was fired.

Chao denied taking the photos but admitted posting them.
