Agents seize $600,000 in money, property in Walker County bust

Agents seized cash and property worth a total of $600,000 during a bust in Walker County.

The Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force obtained three search warrants in Walker last week as part of a federal, state and local investigation, said District Attorney Herbert “Buzz” Franklin in a news release.

No one has been arrested yet, but the search warrants were successful in obtaining evidence to present to the grand jury, Franklin said. He didn’t say what the evidence was.

Authorities didn’t give a timeframe for the completion of the investigation.
