Chattanooga's Howard loses to Liberty 62-52 in basketball quarterfinals

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Howard basketball season came to a close today as they fell to Liberty 62-52 in the Class AA state quarterfinals at the Murphy Center.

Freshman Wayne Caudle led the Tigers (21-10 with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Brandon Walters battled foul trouble, but finished with seven points and 10 rebounds. Tavarius Gause led Liberty (29-6) with 16 points.
