The Craniofacial Foundation of America has announced its annual fundraiser, "Palate 2 Palette," will be held on Saturday, April 14. Beginning at 5 p.m., visitors can enjoy a gallery stroll through the Southside, view fine art, enjoy food and wine pairings at each venue and see stunning floral designs. After the stroll, a Bubbles & Sweets Party will be held from 8 to 10 p.m. at Track 29.

The Association for Visual Artists' new project manager is Laura Linz. Her primary responsibility will be directing the 4 Bridges Arts Festival, which has become a nationally recognized fine arts and crafts event.
Formerly of Greenville, S.C., Linz graduated from Furman University with an art degree, has been executive director of two non-profit art organizations and has served as director of three major arts and crafts festivals.
Hunter Museum of American Art's next community dialogue, A Whole New Mind of Abstraction, will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday. As part of the museum's "Art + Issues: Creativity in Our Schools and Community" program, educators Bruce Edwards and Andra Jurist will lead the discussion. Admission is free.
