A Wednesday afternoon crash on state Highway 153 has left one dead and one injured, says Chattanooga police Officer Nathan Hartwig.
The accident occurred shortly after 3 p.m. when a southbound car tried to turn left onto Grubb Road and was struck broadside by a northbound car, Hartwg reported.
The impact killed the passenger of the southbound car and injured the driver. The driver of the northbound car was uninjured.
Chattanooga police are withholding victims’ names at this time.
