WHO IS GOING to pay for the damage done to the courthouse lawn by the Occupy Chattanooga protesters? Oh, yeah, the 1 percent -- like always.

PRIVATE INTERVIEWS for a public school board appointment. Bad call, Larry Henry. Get mad, District 3.

THE EAST HAMILTON community committee should have convened prior to unveiling the rezone plan. But the Hamilton County Department of Education hates community input.

MAGNET SCHOOLS are intended to create diversity, so why does the new lottery ignore this?

WATCH OUT, East Chattanooga, three white liberals are on their way to save you just like they did Main Street.

HEY, BO WATSON, here's a thought: "To teach superstitions as truth is a terrible thing" -- Hypatia (c.400 a.d.). Still true today.

COUNTY RESIDENTS now have to pay a $50 fee to use the public library. Boycott city stores!

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS Time: The government's idea of cutting the top off the blanket and sewing it to the bottom to make the blanket longer.

NO WONDER Democrats want people to be dependent on welfare, stripping their dignity and self-respect. Dependency garners votes; dependency is not freedom.

MY NEW campaign: While Alison Gerber does have the Right2Know, I and 127,000 other potential subscribers have a Right2Cancel.

ALL RIGHT, already (ad nauseum), "Right Side," we get it! Obamacare is unpopular. Any poll respondents know what all is in a 2,000-page bill?

My husband and I receive no government funds for anything . . . and we're voting for the Democrats because, on balance, that party is more honest, compassionate, and sane. The rabid right-wing has taken over the Republican Party, so we no longer even consider voting for their candidates.

Hey moon4kat - Do you really think the Democrats are more honest, compassionate, and sane? That makes me question your sanity. There are problems with the extrimists on both sides. We're suffering from the extremities of the rabid left-wing party now. They just act honest, compassionate and sane for their not so informed voters.

The way I see it, we either get 4 more years of Obama, Pelosi, and Reid (geez, I can't believe I just wrote that), or we vote them out.

With Obama's most recent "hot mike" comment, where he said, to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev that he would have “more flexibility in missile defense negotiations after he wins reelection", they have to go.

First of all...this guy is no where near the 1 percent. Second, one day soon we may all find ourselves in a situation where we will have to stand up for our rights.. possibly on the courthouse lawn. Third, there is no 2 party system. If you think Demon-crats and Repubs are not on the same Agenda you need to WAKE UP!! Clearly the only Constitutional choice would be RON PAUL. Thats ok...just keep watching CNN and soon you will find yourself in a FEMA Reeducation Facility
