Enterprise South Nature Park, a 2,800-acre wooded area, includes paved walking and bicycle trails such as the Poe Run Path and more than 10 miles of mountain bike trails.Enterprise South Nature Park opened to the public for the first time in December 2010, making it Hamilton County's newest park. The park was created when Volkswagen moved in next door to build its automobile factory. Part of the Enterprise South industrial park was then turned into the nature park.
Another new addition to area parks is the opening of the extension of South Chickamauga Greenway located off Harrison Pike. The 4.25-mile trail meanders along South Chickamauga Creek and offers great views from a long boardwalk.
