Austin Parrish, Ringgold: He hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Tigers over Cartersville 7-4 in a game of Georgia state-ranked AAA baseball powers.

Tyler Higgins, Coahulla Creek: He pitched a complete game, striking out seven, and went 3-for-4 with an RBI in his team's 12-1 victory at Gordon Central.

Austin Kline, Boyd-Buchanan: He was the winning pitcher and was 2-for-4 with an RBI in the Buccaneers' 10-0 win over Silverdale Baptist.

Sadik Spence, Tyner: He doubled and singled and knocked in two runs in the Rams' 3-0 victory over East Ridge.

Keegan Fredrick, Sequatchie County: He went the distance and struck out seven in the Indians' 11-0 win at Bledsoe County.

Jacob Toney, South Pittsburg: He went 5-for-6 including a home run and knocked in nine runs as the Pirates beat Van Buren County twice, 13-2 and 16-0.

Alex Akins, Polk County: He went 2-for-3 with two doulbes and two RBIs in the Wildcats' 7-6 District 5-AA win over Meigs County.

Cody Sherlin, Heritage: He picked up his second pitching win of the season and went 3-for-4 and scored two runs in the Generals' 10-1 win over Cedartown.

Jordan Triplett, Polk County: She pitched 4 2/3 innings and struck out six and went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs in her softball team's 7-0 victory over Chattanooga Christian.

Taylor Baird, Ooltewah: She struck out seven in a 7-0 shutout against Rhea County and added two hits.

Autumn Babb, Red Bank: She was 3-for-4, scored three runs and drove in six in a 13-7 victory over Lookout Valley.

Katie Henderson, Silverdale Baptist: She struck out 15 in an 11-1 win over Signal Mountain.
