KNOXVILLE - Kenny Hall is back in the Tennessee basketball program.

The rising senior center was reinstated Tuesday after an indefinite suspension for undisclosed conduct detrimental to the team. The suspension forced Hall to miss the Volunteers' last nine games.

"Kenny's a quality young man," UT coach Cuonzo Martin told the Times Free Press early Tuesday afternoon. "He made a mistake, learned from it, and we move forward. We don't hold any grudges; we don't continue to rehash it and bring it back up. We just continue to push forward as a program."

Hall started the two games before his suspension. The 6-foot-8 Georgia native averaged 6.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in 20.2 minutes per game. He also led the Vols in blocked shots, averaging one per game.

Though he was barred from team activities, Hall remained active during his nearly six-week absence.

"He's been doing a good job of lifting weights and working out," Martin said. "More lifting than really working out, because he wasn't even a part of the practices. He's done a really good job of going from almost 219 [pounds] to 230 as we speak."
