KNOXVILLE - Knox County detectives are investigating the apparent bathtub drowning of a 22-year-old University of Tennessee female student.

Authorities were alerted at 1 p.m. Wednesday of the incident at The Retreat at Knoxville, 4245 Henry Knox Way, in South Knox County.

An autopsy is slated for today, according to Knox County Sheriff's Office Lt. Mark Webber.
