A pet adoption drive this weekend has a goal of finding homes for 250 cats and dogs. More than 100 animals will be available each day of the three-day campaign held at the East Brainerd Petsmart, 2130 Gunbarrel Road.
Eight agencies are taking part in the Spring Fling Mega Adoptathon: McKamey Animal Center, Humane Educational Society, East Ridge Animal Shelter, Catoosa Citizens for Animal Care, Pet Placement Center, Trooper's Treasures, GrandDogs Rescue & Adoptions and A Friend 4 Life.
This is the second year for the Spring Fling, billed as Chattanooga's largest pet adoption event.
The event also includes a pooch kissing booth, food, games and prizes.
Hours are noon-8 p.m. today, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday.
