A Bridgeport, Ala., councilman was arrested on two misdemeanor counts on allegations that he harassed someone by pulling out a pistol.
Bryon Dave, 49, turned himself in at the Jackson County Jail today on two outstanding warrants for harassment and menacing, Jackson County Chief Deputy Rocky Harnen said in a news release.
The alleged victim obtained the arrest warrant after filing a report with the sheriff's office, Harnen said.
The victim claims the offense took place on Aldhouse Avenue and Dave showed his pistol, Harnen said.
Dave was released on a $1,000 bond.
