Jim Sattler

Jim Sattler on Friday was named chairman of the board of Chattanooga's Enterprise Center.

The former EMJ Corp. chief executive replaced Jim Hall, who was National Transportation Safety Board chairman from June 1994 to January 2001.

Hall stepped down as Enterprise Center chairman after nearly eight years, but he will remain on the group's board. The center, started in 2003, oversees many of the city's entrepreneurial and technology initiatives, its high-speed rail effort and a brownfields program.
