The Walker County Sheriff's Office has ruled the death of a man found with his feet bound and a pillow case over his head as a suicide.

The body of the man, whose name has not been released, was found at the end of his driveway off Keller Road in Rossville early Monday morning, Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson said.

Detectives determined the man shot himself once in the head about 5:30 a.m. Monday, Wilson said. A .45-caliber pistol was found next to the man, a magazine was in his pocket and a gun casing next to the body, the sheriff said.

The man didn't leave a suicide note, Wilson said.

"It was unusual," he said.
