The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce has tapped local media executive Sandra Brewer as vice president of member services.

Brewer, vice president of Brewer Media, in her new job will lead the delivery of services to the 1,600 companies that comprise the Chamber membership.

Tom Edd Wilson, Chamber chief executive, said the business group engaged a search committee that included volunteer leaders, Chamber staffers and Ron Harr, who has been named to succeed him in leading the organization.

“Although Ron won’t officially begin working at the Chamber until July 1, and I won’t retire until the end of the calendar year, I thought it would be best to engage him in making this key hire,” Wilson said.

Brewer will replace Kristi Haulsee, who moved to another part of the state.
