CLEVELAND, Tenn. — There will be no Cleveland Municipal Court on Thursday because of funeral services for Officer Justin Maples, City Manager Janice Casteel announced this afternoon.
City court is asking people to contact the city between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at 423-472-4551 to reschedule court dates.
Maples died Sunday night in a crash while responding to fellow officers' call for assistance during a stolen car chase.
The funeral is Thursday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church.
