MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Kelsey Nunley pitched a two-hitter with 16 strikeouts and Soddy-Daisy won 2-0 in eight innings against Daniel Boone in the TSSAA Class AAA state softball tournament this evening. The Lady Trojans had 10 hits but didn’t score until Hannah Smith was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the extra inning, and Brittany Lanham added an RBI single.
