Afternoon storms prevented work on Signal Mountain’s W Road from being completed today, so the road will be closed on Wednesday.
However, the road will be open for traffic this evening by 6 p.m. and stay open for the Wednesday morning commute.
At 9 a.m., the W Road will close again to continue the work, which is expected to be finished by 3 p.m.
