Chattanooga operation nets 55 people in roundup

On Thursday, a total of 55 people were arrested as part of a round up operation with the Tennessee Board of Probation and Parole, Chattanooga Police Department and other surrounding area agencies as well as state and federal authorities. The operation as part of a two-day operation.

Authorities searched for people with open warrants stemming from violating probation or parole terms.

Two vehicles were seized and 80 warrants were served.

During the saturation, a tip came in off the show "America's Most Wanted" for a fugitive, Shane Magan, who was believed to be in the area.

Magan is 34 years old, 5 foot 7 and weighs 150 pounds. He has a scar on the right side of his lip from a cleft palate, brown hair and brown eyes.

He is wanted out of Riverside, Calif., for armed robbery and attempted murder of a police officer.
