Chattanooga police are looking for a suspect in a bank robbery.
Just after 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to SunTrust Bank, 2801 E. 48th St., according to police spokesman Officer Nathan Hartwig.
The suspect walked in, presented a note to the teller demanding money, then fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, he said.
The suspect is a black male ranging in age from 25 to 30 years old, Hartwig said, and about 5 foot 10 inches tall and 175 pounds with a thin beard. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap and a long-sleeve black shirt with writing and design on its front, according to Hartwig.
Anyone with information is asked to call Chattanooga Police Department at 423-698-2525.
