Police are investigating how a 53-year-old man was killed at a drag race Saturday night in Ringgold.
Hillary Mason, 22, had her race car in reverse at the start of a drag race off Scruggs Road, when she backed up quickly and ran over Johnny Walker, a police report shows. Walker, of Chattanooga, later died from his injuries.
Mason then left the track, but later came to the sheriff’s office to talk about the accident, the report states.
No charges have been filed.
