The Fall Farm Fair at Crabtree Farms on Saturday, Nov. 10, will offer an array of fall farm fun.

The family-friendly event will feature tractor rides, competitions for prizes, scarecrow stuffing, a photo booth, corn hole and horseshoes, tours and bluegrass music. Gates open at noon, and scheduled activities will take place throughout the day. The event ends at 5 p.m. with a staff vs. volunteer tug-of-war.

Guests may bring their own food to fry in local lard, or pick up a tasty bratwurst from The Missing Link. Hot mulled cider and cold beer will be for sale as well.

Items from local artisans and businesses will be sold in a raffle.

"Whether you're into competing in the bike race or pie contest, or just there to enjoy the atmosphere, you're going to have a great time," said Executive Director Joel Houser in a news release. "Not only that, it's also a great way to support Crabtree's efforts in and around Chattanooga. "

Proceeds from the event will help support Crabtree Farms' educational programs, which include Farm-To-School efforts, gardening education and community outreach.

Entrance fee is $5, which includes two tickets for games, competitions, beer, food and other activities. Additional tickets may be purchased. Guests who bike to the farm will receive two additional tickets at the door.

"By keeping the cost of the event affordable for most families, we hope the event will bring more people out to see the farm and learn about what we do," said Andrea Jaeger, programs coordinator. "You can stay for an hour or all day, and you just pay for what you want to play."
