Planetshakers in benefit concert at Lee University

Australian Christian worship band Planetshakers will perform during U-Church, a nontraditional worship service, at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, in the Conn Center, 150 11th St., at Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn.

The band has released 20 albums since its founding in 1997 at Planetshakers City Church in Melbourne.

The U.S. tour features musicians Israel Houghton, Jentezen Franklin, Rich Wilkerson Jr., Joel Stockstill and Paul Daugherty.

The performance will benefit freshman Josh Owens, who was critically injured in an automobile accident on Aug. 19.

Admission to the concert is free, but a love offering will be taken to help with Owens' medical expenses.

For more information, contact Josh York at jyork@leeuniversity.edu or 423-614-8347.
