Chattanooga police investigate shooting of 18-year old

Chattanooga police are investigating a shooting Thursday night that sent an 18-year-old to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Jassiem Robinson told police he was walking in an alley near 2116 E. 12th St. when he was robbed at gunpoint. Robinson said he struggled with the gunman and was shot just before 11 p.m.

The shooting remains under investigation, police say.
