Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park plans special programs commemorating the 149th anniversary of the Battles for Chattanooga today and Sunday.
Guided walks, talks and tours will be offered at the park on Lookout Mountain, Missionary Ridge and Moccasin Bend.
Living history demonstrations will include Confederate artillery and infantry, which will be conducted from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in Point Park atop Lookout Mountain.
The Lookout Mountain Battlefield Visitor Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
