Paper delivery perspective changes
I used to get upset when my paper was not delivered. Since Drew Johnson's been Free Press editor, I get upset when it is delivered.

Family is basis of our nation
Your Free Press editorial "GOP must hit 'reset' button," (Nov. 8), advised Republicans to disobey commandments of God to satisfy political ends. A nation that defies God cannot and will not stand. Therefore, your editorial is a certain recipe for destruction of this nation. I hope others will stand up for this nation as many of us did during times of armed conflict.
The family is the basic building block of any nation. A family is intended, by God, to consist of a man, a wife and children born of this sacred union. No other union is recognized in Scripture.
As for me I choose to follow our God as presented to us in Scripture.
You choose, even if you don't choose!

Marriage vows not to be broken
Anyone, man or woman, who commits adultery and it can be proved beyond a doubt, should be punished whether in the military or not. It destroys lives and breaks hearts and is against God's laws. Also, if you have made marriage vows, you should keep them.

Our children are inheriting a mess
Sen. Bob Corker: The debt of our nation is now more than $16,000,000,000. Divide that incomprehensible number by our population and everyone of us is more than $54,000 in debt. You, me, my sons, everybody. There is more. It is worse.
Today a baby was born in a Chattanooga hospital. When that baby took its first breath it was $54,000 in debt. That is a lousy inheritance for you to leave.
