Chattanooga: Shots fired at teen hit man in Ivy Street house

A Chattanooga youth was shot early Sunday morning on Ivy Street and at least one bullet penetrated a house and injured someone inside.

Chattanooga police said in a news release that Lee Clements, 18, was standing outside 2217 Ivy St. shortly before 2 a.m. when someone fired several shots at him and he was struck in the chest.

Michael Jones, 55, was inside the house and was struck in the leg.

Neither injury was life-threatening, the release stated.

No information was available on the suspect or suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call the Chattanooga Police Department at 423-698-2525.
