A Dawnville, Ga., man has been indicted on two counts of malice murder in the May slayings of his wife and her grandfather at their home.
Adolph "Sonny" Neal, 49, was indicted Thursday by a Whitfield County grand jury, records show.
Neal's wife Jessica Neal, 27, and her grandfather, 69-year-old Donald Shedd, were slain at their Dawnville home and the bodies found on May 24. Jessica Neal was stabbed and Shedd beaten to death, authorities said,.
Neal led police on a weeklong manhunt before he was captured in Varnell, Ga.
