Score International, a Chattanooga-based nonprofit mission organization, will accept donations next week for victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Items sought include gently used coats, clean blankets, sleeping bags, flashlights, batteries, paper towels, toilet paper and peanut butter for residents.
Area residents who want to contribute may drop off their items at the organization's office at 707 S. Germantown Road on Monday, Nov. 26, and Tuesday, Nov. 27, between 8:30 and 4:30 p.m., or at First Volunteer Bank, 5102 Alabama Highway, Ringgold, Ga., on Tuesday, Nov. 27, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Four relief mission trips, Nov. 25-30, Dec. 2-7, Dec. 9-14 and Dec. 16-21, also will be offered to distribute the items collected and assist in clean-up efforts in New York and New Jersey.
