A 24-year-old woman is dead and a man was treated at a Chattanooga hospital early today after the two were shot at a home in Cleveland, Tenn., police said.

Cleveland police were called to the double shooting at 1223 Crown St. NW around 2:15 this morning, according to Officer Evie West, spokeswoman for the department.

Both victims were taken to Erlanger hospital where the woman, identified as Annie Ulmer, was pronounced dead. The man, identified as Steven Lanosga, 28, was treated for non-life-threatening wounds and released, police said.

Ulmer and Lanosga were girlfriend and boyfriend, investigators said.

The investigation is ongoing, and the cause and manner of death is pending autopsy results, according to police.
