Diabetes basics and diet classes are designed to provide an overview of diabetes, treatment, prevention of complications, meal planning and carbohydrate counting. Foster/adoptive parents classes
Centerstone, a nonprofit provider of community-based mental health and addiction services, announces the Parents as Tender Healers classes, required by the Tennessee Department of Children's Services for all potential foster and adoptive parents in Tennessee. The 12-class certification course is scheduled Thursday evenings from Nov. 29 to Feb. 29, running 6-9 p.m. through Feb. 14 and 5:30-9:30 p.m. on Feb. 21 and Feb. 28.
