The third book in Chattanooga author Rocky P. Perry's Luke Banderloft series, "Luke Banderloft and the Vikings of the Invincible Mug," will be released Friday, Nov. 23. To mark the occasion, Perry is giving away free e-book copies of Book 1, "Luke Banderloft and the McFarven Pirates," on Amazon.com on Nov. 23-24.
The first book in the series is the story of a down-on-his-luck wayfarer, Luke, a silver-skinned winged elf, whose life turns around after he finds a true friend. Adventure leads Luke to the high seas, where he and his crew must fight for their lives to outrun a pirate lord. Desperate to find his missing friends, Luke takes command of a mighty vessel and battles his way through brigands, trolls and pirates to find his comrades.
In a news release, Perry said he hopes "everyone in Chattanooga with a computer, smartphone or Kindle will download and support a local author."
